A Kenwood Orange

Long ago I came to the conclusion that moral relativism, when raising children, was a stupid way to go, and this Chgo Tribune Article is a pretty good demonstration of why. School kids (mostly from Kenwood High, but a few from GRADE SCHOOLS) are going out on their lunch breaks and assaulting & robbing people.

Particularly telling is this passage from the article:
"'This started this year for some odd reason,' said Octavia Jones, another 16-year-old Kenwood student. "I guess they got bored or something.'

"There was only one point that all students agreed on: The students involved in the attacks were not gang members."

And:
"'I don't believe these are a bunch of criminals walking around,' she said. 'I just think it's one of those things that teenagers do now. It's one of those things they decided is, for lack of a better word, fun to do.'"

So it's just regular kids having a little fun, trying to break from boredom. Where is Anthony Burgess when you need him?
